Glenn Beck Boycott – Liberals vs ConservativesTwo Lists of Advertisers, Companies & SponsorsSep 19, 2009 Christina Gregoire
Pro or con, Americans should know about Glenn Beck boycotts. Does Beck have common sense or is he an idiot mad man racist? Here are two lists of advertisers.
This is a tale of two Glenn Beck boycotts. Several months ago, people who hated Glenn Beck started a boycott. Recently, the conservatives have started a different boycott. With Glenn Beck on the cover of Time Magazine, more people may become interested in these two lists of advertisers. This article is NOT an attempt to sway Americans one way or the other, and is only giving information for those interested in American cultural events. Glenn Beck ShowGlenn Beck is a conservative radio talk show host who has a TV show on Fox News at the Fox Network. Beck is associated with the Republican Tea Party March on Washington DC on 9/12 (September 12th). AdvertisersThis giant boycott is interesting from an advertising point of view, as The Glenn Beck Program has been running with little or no advertising during many shows. Glenn Beck Boycott (for Liberals)The original boycott of companies was started by people who hate Glenn Beck. It started months ago when Beck said that Obama was a racist. According to MediaMatters.org, people who dislike Beck should boycott Glenn Beck's advertisers. For a complete list go to mediamatters.org, but here are a few of the companies that Glenn-Beck haters are supposed to avoid:
Glenn Beck Boycott (for Conservatives)This list is for Glenn Beck supporters. Conservatives who agree with Glenn Beck should not buy products from these companies. This list changes whenever an advertiser changes their advertising policy concerning The Glenn Beck Program. Get current information at the Support Glenn Beck Turncoat List. All of this activity is interesting from an advertising or political discussion vantage. Who will win in the boycott wars? No one knows, yet. Is this good or bad for the American economy and its recovery? Again, no one knows. From the point of view of a bystander, who is interested in American culture, it is amazing to watch. Meanwhile, both sides continue to claim success. The Glenn Beck Boycott is amazing to watch, as both sides pit their power as consumers against each other. Is Glenn Beck the bastion of common sense or is he a crazy mad man? Most people don't know, yet. However, Time Magazine's cover story will soon make Glenn Beck a household name.
